Würth UK brings the first drill bit to the market with an innovative stepped tip geometry.
Our Smart Step technology brings neat and accurate drilling, the innovative tip incrementally widens the drill hole meaning there is no need to centre-punch. This drill bit is significantly faster than normal drill bits and can be used in a wide range of materials such as steel, cast iron, aluminium, plastics, fibreglass & wood to name a few.
This product features a 3-face shank which eliminates spinning of the chuck and makes for faster and more comfortable work plus quick and easy release in the drill chuck.
The Smart Step design promotes clean and precise drilling and can also be used to bite in to round or tubular materials where high centring requirements are a must. This product sits in with our Würth Zebra range which is our top end range that assures the customer of excellence and high quality.
This award-winning range comes in a wide range of variants from twist drills, combination taps, stepped and sheet metal to deepcut drill bits. Available in HSS and high performance HSCO and AlTiN coatings for longer life and temperature resistance.
